This time of year produces a lot of fires. The Santa Ana winds ( dry hot winds from the East/ desert) move in. This coupled with the dry vegatation from a long summer with little rain.
The most current fire is in Camp Pendleton. Luckly It is sparsley populated up there. The Marine Fire Dept. has a good hold on the fire, and have it 70% contained.
GOLF
In other news, Mira Mesa Girls Golf had a meet on Tuesday against Crawford and MM won. 'A' shot a 56 @ balboa 9.
The girls also had a meet last night, @ Torrey pines, and The girls played Patrick Henry High, and also won. 'A' shot a 57.
6TH GRADE CAMP
This week has our youngest family member going to 6th grade camp, on Palomar Mtn. She will be there from Mon-Thr. We welcome her home tonight. I miss her very much. the house just has less color, and humor without her.
