Wyoming was next

Wyoming was designed to be a hunting trip, but along the way I was joined by my wife and daughter. We did some hiking, some shooting, scouting for deer, elk, and moose. We also visit Jackson, Teton and Yellowstone parks. The Parks were like walking into a State that has never been discovered. The pools, geysers, waterfalls, bison and moose, are awe inspiring. We have been to the city of Jackson before, and the city is charming, and surrounded by mountains and the Elk preserve. It is starting to get crowded, and construction gave us traffic. We have seen deer right in town.
There was a lot of land that had been scorched by fires from about 2 years ago. The animals are starting to move back in. We were able to harvest a Mule deer. This was a mature deer. it is also the biggest deer I have had a first hand encounter with. This deer head will get mounted.
The girls enjoyed sight seeing, riding atv's, and shooting. It is a great get-away, and it would be a cool place to have a 2nd home (skipping the harshest part of winter). The real estate market is very expensive ( thanks to: out of state'rs moving in to escape the bounds of their over controlled state)
It would be a dream location to get away, Idaho is along the same lines. Maybe one day, I could afford something like that.

Wedding in North Carolina

We visit my sister in NC as she is getting hitched. Great guy we really like. My daughter came up with her boyfriend (from SC). We enjoyed a day on lake Norman. We also visit a whitewater rapids park.

My niece and nephew helped me play up some fun pictures! Lake Norman is nice, and the housing around the lake is out of our price range, but it would be a great place to land.

We are torn between at least 3 beautiful places ( CA, NC, WY)

Take your mind off of life

Since my Dad died, I have thought a lot about my own morbidity. It puts in perspective how it can be taken away, and you can’t get it back. I wanted to go to my happy place (In the mountains) and drive the Jeep with my daughter and just put on some music for the soul. It was a good day.

I also went out to ride a track with a friend whom lost his Dad two weeks before. It was a great way to Give tribute to our dad who introduced us to motorcycle riding. Also, A great way to forget about the things that are going on in the news right now.

Another sad day

The Lord brought home a great man 6/8/2020. He was the best father, husband grandfather, uncle, and friend. The last year, he was in a senior care facility and he was weak, and had dementia. His last day was with some very nice nurses. I feel terrible that I couldn’t be there,I just did not want him to be lonely,I think he was.

Covid 19 time

Its hard for me to wrap my head around it all.  The virus seems to have a choke hold on the Country, even the world. Stores, restaurants, manufacturing and other non essential businesses are shut down. This could send us into a horrible depression.  That recession could cause unemployment,  stock market crash, loss of 401k values, high crime rates, depression,  suicide, murder, and all for a virus that has a 99% surviveablity rate. It Doesn't make sense to me. It seems like the media hates it when Trump gives people hope. They also get upset when he suggests that hydracloriquin shows promising results in make patients feel better, and saving them from death. The media has been critical of everything. Even when things show promise.
We are fortunate for now, we are both able to continue to work.

Been a while

Done a lot of work on the Jeep, and truck. Tired of auto maintenance.
Also got a chance to go 4wheeling, and do some dirt bike riding.
